AA Black Label Launch Party at Chez Chicago
I cannot express enough how grateful I am for everything so many talented people did for the AA Black Label launch party at Chez!
Creating something new isn’t always easy. I’ve been working on my new brand, Black Label, for a little over a year now. Admittedly, I have a very long way to go with this idea, but I am so excited about the direction it is taking. I am also so grateful to everyone who believes in this idea, and who believes in me!
For those of you who don’t know, I created Black Label to offer the experience of being a model or celebrity to anyone who is looking to create one of a kind images unlike anyone else’s. This is a unique experience where, together, we’ll create a set, determine a location, work on a wardrobe, and finish your look off with high end makeup and hair artistry. You will look and feel as though your images belong in the pages of a magazine. The creative possibilities are endless with Black Label. If you want to have a luxurious set in the middle of the desert in Africa, we will make that happen. If you prefer something a little more offbeat and in-studio, we will make that happen, too. If you’d like custom attire created just for you and your shoot, we can make arrangements with you for that. The only thing limiting you is your wallet, though to be clear, you are not limited by your budget, either. We can create grand things with limited means!
For the event at Chez, I want to thank every one of you who helped me officially launch the new brand:
Chez , Lauren Smith and everyone at the space for the generous use of your beautiful venue!
Ashland Addison Flowers and Events, Ramsey Prince and your incredible team!
Luxe Productions and your wonderful team!
Joy Bijedic for beautifully capturing the event, and for being such a great friend and photographer!
True Shot Studios – Nick and Tim, I adore you boys, and am always so grateful for all that you do. Thank you for being you, and for making the time for me!
Lynfred Winery for always supporting me, and for your generous sponsorship of wine!
Gentleman’s Cooperative for kindly allowing us to use your menswear for the models.
Urban Icing for the custom cookies you created for the event – thank you!
And especially to our models – Tara, Michael, Mishelle, and Alex – thank you for enduring the long day, and for making everything so much fun for me!
To everyone who attended on such a difficult day to attend (HORRIBLE weather day with snow and all!), it meant so much to me that you each supported all of us. Every last one of us put so much effort into creating that day, and are so lucky to have such wonderful people to support us. Thank you!
Here’s a peek into the beautiful promo video for Black Label that the True Shot Studios team created, as well as images from the event (by Being Joy Photography), and final images that I captured from the model portion of the day:
