Natallie & Emil’s Wedding Day
Mallory Powell (owner of Chi Chic Weddings and Events) deserves more than thanks for introducing me to Natallie and Emil. What a joy to have experienced their beautiful Intercontinental Hotel Chicago wedding journey with them! Every detail of the day, from the attire, to the beautiful florals (by Kehoe Designs), to traditions and more, were simply stunning (and a lot of fun!). The best part of this experience are all of the memories created together with each meeting, our engagement sessions, our skype sessions, and of course the wedding day. Looking at these photos makes me smile so much!
One of my favorite aspects of Natallie and Emil’s wedding day was all of the cultural elements they planned! Their beautiful Armenian ceremony (St James Armenian Church) included a beautiful moment using crowns. The reception had latin guitarrists during cocktail hour, Armenian dancers during dinner, and a Batucada near the end of the evening. I don’t believe I have ever seen such a packed dance floor in my 10 years photographing weddings as I did at Natallie and Emil’s! Natallie even got me out on the dance floor… there may or may not be video proof, thanks to the guys at True Shot Studios. DJ Sultan did an absolutely incredible job mixing Armenian and Latin music all night long for an absolutely seamless blending of both Natallie and Emil’s families!
Rather than continuing writing, I’d love to let the photos do the talking!
Natallie and Emil, congratulations to you both! Thank you with all my heart for asking me to be such a special part of your wedding day!!
